We know how bad the living conditions of the people are in the developing nations. Lack of education, unemployment and low income work together to reduce opportunities, limit choices, undermine hope. They are always under constant political issues like Cuba and environmental disasters like Haiti (hurricanes and earthquakes). We also know that we can't just send food to them because they will be depending on this forever!
